Troubleshooting Common Samsung Toner Cartridge and Printer Problemsand Printer Problems

Samsung is not only popular in Cameras, Television or Computer, but Printers also. Samsung printers are very reliable, durable and inexpensive. Some Samsung printers come with wireless function too; which is why it didn’t only attract business users but also home users. Although Samsung is a very popular brand, there are times Samsung printers and toners give its owner trouble when it comes to toner cartridges.

To give you more information on your Samsung printers, electronic chips are installed in each toner cartridge to store the number of pages printed. These chips are very important for the printer and toner to function correctly. One of the most common problem people are having is getting an error message; “Toner Incompatible”. If that appears, it means that your chip is either defective or the firmware version inside the chip is incorrect. The chip tells the printer not to accept the toner because chip is defective or the chip is outdated due to the difference in the firmware version. If that’s the case, contact your supplier as soon as you can and get the toner tested and fixed.

The best way to prevent problems from using remanufactured or compatible toner cartridges after purchasing the printer is to not update the printer firmware when the software ask you for an update. After updating, the firmware might be different and the printer might no longer accept remanufactured or compatible toner cartridge. Thus, making customers purchase Genuine Samsung toners which cost at least 50% more than the remanufactured or compatible cartridges. Usually it takes a few months before the aftermarket printers catches up to the latest firmware. While it takes about 3 months for new models of remanufactured or compatible toner cartridges to be available after new printer releases. The chips Graphic Toners offer are always up to date and are sold with each toner cartridge as soon as it releases.

Tips:

1    1.)     To prevent disconnection from your printer to the chip, you can try to clean the surface of the chip so dust doesn’t get on the chip and disconnect your printer to the chip.
2    2.)    Do not update firmware, Samsung regularly offer firmware updates to prevent aftermarket chips from working in their printers.
3    3.)    For the printer to connect with toner cartridge, try turning on/off with the toner cartridge inside, this will reset the toner cartridge.

For any problems with your Samsung printer and toner cartridges is best to refer back to your user manual or contact your supplier.

Money Saving Tips When Using Remanufactured Toner Cartridges Compatible With Samsung Printers

Let’s admit it. Toner cartridges, indispensable printing supplies as they may be, do not exactly come cheap. And despite the proliferation of premium remanufactured toner cartridges, purchasing toner cartridges can still be quite a strain on the budget especially if printing is an essential part of your daily work.

If you are using a Samsung printer, then one cost efficient (without sacrificing the printing quality) option for you is to buy and use premium remanufactured toner cartridges that are compatible with your printer. But that’s just the beginning of your savings. In this article, we are going to share with you some money saving tips when using premium remanufactured toner cartridges compatible with a Samsung printer.

1. Use smaller fonts. You may not realize this but saving starts when creating your document. If possible, choose the more petite fonts and try using less bolded texts.

2. Proofread your documents before printing. This guideline is not just for writing. It is also a cost efficient tip. Sometimes, the smallest mistakes can make us reprint a page. So proofread your documents at least twice to ensure that you won’t be using up more toner ink than you should.

3. Print only what you need and print it in draft output. As much as possible, use up the entire page before printing. And if it is not something that needs to be submitted to important people (like an application letter or your final thesis draft), then print it in draft output to save the ink on your remanufactured toner cartridge.

4. Try reducing the resolution on images. But only if you are using high quality paper because otherwise, the quality of the print out will be compromised.

5. Keep the electricity flowing but turn your printer on and off manually. Every time you unplug your printer from the socket, the printer will go on a “cleaning” cycle once you plug back the power and this procedure unnecessarily uses up both ink and electricity. When not in use, turn off your printer manually and keep it in “park” mode so the ink on the toner cartridge will not dry out.

Troubleshooting the Most Common Samsung Toner Cartridge and Printer Problems

Samsung toner cartridges and printers are among the best-selling printing products. The brand name itself, Samsung, connotes quality, reliability, and durability which many businesses and home users prefer. Despite this, there are still times when Samsung toner cartridges and printers give its owners a little bit of trouble when it comes to printing jobs.

One of the most common problems in Samsung toner cartridges and printers are the quality of the printouts. This is often manifested in the white lines that can be seen through each line in the printout. While this is mostly a mix of both printing and cartridge problems, this can easily be solved by regularly cleaning the Samsung toner cartridge with a cotton swab dabbed with a little bit of alcohol. Rub it on the surface of the cartridge. The alcohol will dissolve any dried up ink that causes the print head to clog which makes the printer not dispense ink properly.

Paper jams also often occur in Samsung printers. While the first solution to come to mind is to forcibly remove the paper or batches of paper on the printer, this action might cause more damage as it can break the fuser on the printer. To fix this problem, simply turn on the printer and assign a printing process to gently remove the paper out.

If you try printing a document or an image, wait a few minutes, and if nothing seems to come out of the printer, don’t worry because this happens quite often as well. This could be due to the fact that the Samsung printer does not recognize the file you are trying to print. This is easily fixed by playing around with the different options your Samsung printer offers, which will ultimately depend on the format, size, and overall resolution of your file. As soon as this is accomplished, printing should not be a problem.

For other problems that you encounter with your Samsung toner cartridge and printer, it is always recommended to check with the user manual first before doing anything that could bring further damage. More serious problems should, however, be brought to professional Samsung technicians to avoid worse consequences.
